Braids are huge on our list of hairstyles for toddler girls. This combines the practicality of a high ponytail with the romantic atmosphere of a four-strand ribbon braid. To create this style, with lace, ribbon, beads or leather, simply attach the cord to the base of the ponytail and integrate it in place of the third strand into your four-strand braid. The first strand is passed over the second and then under the next strand; and the 4th goes under the 3rd and then over the next strand. Continue this pattern until the end. At the very end, tie the braid with the ends of the ribbon and spread the edges for a lacy look.
This is a style that works well on medium and even short hair. To achieve this, divide the hair down the middle and then pull the sections into two ponytails from each side. Secure them with elastics, blend the two ponytails into one and secure these new bangs. Continue making little ponytails to create a fun row and add some pretty clips as shown here.
