Born and based in San Jose, California, Nikki Goddard has always had a passion for hair styling and unusual makeup techniques. At the age of 20, she began her training at The Salon Professional Academy and completed an extensive program in hair salons. Today, Nikki is a certified hairstylist and makeup artist with a college degree in cosmetology. Nikki is currently a senior editor at therighthairstyles.com. She is proud to be a source of inspiration not only for herself, but for the entire team at The Right Kapsels magazine. Her mission is to make the beauty industry available to everyone, and she enjoys teaching people the basics of hair styling and makeup through the magazine's articles. I have been behind the chair since 2019. I now work as a full-time stylist at Gold Dust Intuition and a part-time teacher, specializing in layered hairstyles and colors. Over the years I have continued my education by taking classes from Kimberlytay Hair, Daniel M Beauty, Linson Hair, Adrienne Dara and more.
