Many players returning from the original game want to awaken Hypnos in Hades 2. In the first game, every time you died and returned to Tartarus, he was the first to greet you. But his duties include more than that; his main job was to check on all the newly arrived Shades in the House of Hades and check their names off his list. But unlike the last game where he would sometimes sleep on the job, in Hades 2 he can't seem to wake up from sleep.
