Honkai Star Rail offers a lot of choices and players would rather be safe than sorry. Therefore, they often look at the consequences and rewards of both choices before making a decision. One such difficult choice that players face is when to choose between letting Orla go or waking Orla up in Honkai Star Rail. If you are confused and want to know the outcome before making a choice, this guide has everything you need.
Wake Orla up or let Orla go | Honkai: Star Rail
In the Dreamflux Reef area of Penacony, players can visit Dr. Blues, who will reward them for finding all of the Origami Birds. He will also give players the Dream Song quest if they complete the Penacony Trailblaze Mission "In Our Time." At the end of this quest, players must choose to either let Orla go or wake Orla up in HSR.
If you choose the option to let Orla go in HSR (which is actually his wish), the bird will fly away to his companions and his true self will be lost forever. He will thank you for letting him go and once you return to the dreamscape, Dr. Blues will no longer remember anything of his past as Orla. Players will receive the rewards for the quest and with it the achievement "Just Leave".
If you choose to awaken Orla in Honkai Star Rail, he will reveal that he knows it is an illusion, but he does not want to wake up from it. However, you can convince him to stay in Penacony and honor the legacy of his friends. Once he awakens, he will continue his identity as Dr. Blues, even if you call him Orla. While the rewards will be the same this time around, players will instead receive the achievement "Unfinished Dream Song".
