As hair styling tools pop up every now and then and offer a dizzying array of features, I always wonder if this is the perfect tool for my locks. Normally I scroll through hundreds of customer reviews and watch hours of bloggers ranting about the new tool, wishing it was all in one place so I could read and watch it. Preferably condensed.
DYSON AIRSTRAIT REVIEW // Professional Hair Stylist NOT SPONSORED! #airstrait #dyson #airstraight
So when Dyson released their Airstrait hair straightener, I rolled up my sleeves to find out if it was worth the hype.
In the introductory video on their website, Dyson Airstrait promises that it dries and straightens hair from wet, saving time and creating natural, straight styles. Wet to Dry Hair Straighteners are labeled as “New” in their product range and claim to use breakthrough technology with no hot plates and no heat damage. With a footnote in small font that this is true when used in wet-to-dry mode.
There are two ways you can change the way your hair is shaped: you can start with wet hair and use a blow dryer and brush, or you can use a hot plate tool on dry hair. According to their website, Dyson Airstrait is intended to simplify your hair styling routine by eliminating rough drying, as it dries and straightens your hair at the same time.
