Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO has fans of the franchise excited for a return to the Budokai Tenkaichi-style of gameplay, and thanks to a little datamine this week, we may be gearing up for a known release window as well.

Bandai Namco has yet to reveal an official release date for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, despite us getting new character and gameplay trailers every few weeks. But while the community is expecting a bigger announcement for the game soon, a dataminer may have discovered the release date early.

According to Portuguese game modder SérgioM3, Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO could be released on October 1, 2024. This information was obtained via the game's official website, or via one of Bandai's product pages, they don't specify it, probably from data accidentally saved in the backend where they were inspecting the game. The information is listed alongside release dates and information for other upcoming Bandai products such as SPYxANYA: Operation Memories or Gundam Breaker 4, which are coming out on June 28 and August 29 respectively.

SérgioM3 notes that this info seems legit based on what they've seen, but since some of the dates for Elden Ring's content aren't accurate, they can't fully trust the list. There's also a good chance that some of these dates for unannounced games or games with no confirmed release date are placeholders, though for Sparking! ZERO, history does lend some credence to the listed October 1st date.
