Elden Ring RL1 DLC% Speed Runs
Just nine days before the launch of Elden Ring's highly anticipated Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, Bandai Namco announced that the game has reached 25 million players, making it by far the best-selling FromSoftware game to date.
In Bandai Namco's previous sales update in March 2024, the company reported that the game had sold 23 million copies. That means that the game sold a whopping two million more copies in the two months leading up to the DLC's release.
And it’s easy to see why. Shadow of the Erdtree is shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of 2024, following the massive success of Elden Ring when it released over two years ago in February 2022. Players have been itching to go back, with many trying it out for the first time in anticipation of the DLC.
