Too Close to the Sun Task Guide in Gray Zone Warfare (Get the Flight Recorder)
Gray Zone Warfare players who received the Too Close to the Sun task from Lab Rat will likely also have the What Comes Up from Handshake task in their active tasks list. Both tasks ask you to complete the same objective: retrieve a flight recorder from a crashed plane.
Regardless of who you give the quest to, you will still have to travel through the forest to find what you seek.
The flight recorder is located in the wreckage of a small single-engine plane that crashed in a clearing in the forest southwest of Pha Lang and southeast of Pha Lang Airfield, at map coordinates (192, 152). It is located on the south side of a small patch of forest that separates the road and the river.
