With the start of Season 4, you’ll see everyone hunting for Baneful Hearts in Diablo 4. This is a very important item that you’ll need if you want to summon the Blood Maiden. The reason you’d want to fight her is because she drops some of the best loot in the game. However, since these hearts are so valuable, it stands to reason that you won’t find them easily. So here’s a quick guide on what you can do to find Baneful Hearts in D4.
Where to Find Baneful Heart & Summon Blood Maiden – Diablo 4 PTR
The best way to get a guaranteed drop is to defeat Hellborne enemies. You can fight them after you become HellMarked. Becoming HellMarked and hunting Baneful Hearts go hand in hand. The two ways to get them are:
Check the top right side next to the minimap to see how many Baneful Hearts you have. It's above the Threat level meter and next to the Aberrant Cinder symbol.
Once you have collected 3 Baneful Hearts, you can place them at Accursed Altars.
