As you explore the northwestern region of Vernworth, you'll come across an elvish village called Sacred Arbor. You can also come across this location while completing the "Gift of the Bow" or "A Trial of Archery" quests. However, you'll quickly find that you can't quite understand what the NPCs are saying here. As such, you'll need to learn Elvish in Draon's Dogma 2 if you want to translate everything that's being said to you.

Additionally, once you understand their language, you can browse and read about the various weapons and armor available at Grisha's Armory, a store in this region. If you need help with that, here are a few ways to learn the Elvish language.

As mentioned before, by learning the language of the elves you've encountered, you'll be able to understand what they're telling you and will also be able to buy from their shops. There are two ways to learn Elvish in Dragon's Dogma 2, by using the Woodland Wordsmith's Tome on your Main Pawn or by recruiting a pawn with the Woodland Wordsmith specialization from the Rift. Here's how to go about these processes.

If you want your Main Pawn to understand Elvish and translate it for you, you'll need to obtain the Woodland Wordsmith's Tome. To obtain this item, you'll need to choose one of the eleven NPCs that reside in Scared Arbor and give them gifts for three days. Your main goal is to gain affinity with the elf of your choice.
