If you’re looking for rare metals, you’ll want to enter the Pit of Artificers in Diablo 4. Season 4 finally gives players plenty of end-game content to enjoy. For those who’ve played the third game in the series, you can think of these pits as Greater Rifts. You can change the levels of the Pit to make it more difficult in exchange for more rewards. How to Unlock the Artificer's Pit – Diablo 4
You will need at least 3 Runeshards to unlock the Pit of Artificers Tier 1. While this may sound easy, there are two requirements you need to meet to make it work.
The first is that you need to be playing the game on World Tier IV (Torment), which happens to be the hardest difficulty in the game. Then, you need to complete a Nightmare dungeon that is Tier 46 or higher.
