One of the most common and recurring weekly challenges in Fortnite is to travel a distance vertically without taking damage from falling. Essentially, you have to travel a certain distance from the ground to the sky and back again to complete this challenge. This may sound like a monumental task, but trust me, it’s not. In fact, it can take you less than a minute to complete this challenge if you follow this guide.
Travel vertically without taking damage from falls Fortnite
First, know that vertical travel means moving up into the air without touching any surface with your feet. To do this, you can use a zipline. There are several areas on the map where you can find a zipline, for example Grand Glacier. Simply use the zipline to go down and up until you have completed the specified distance. It should be noted that a zipline that goes diagonally from top to bottom also works.
You can also use an exhaust fan that you find on top of certain buildings to travel vertically. If you find one, jump on it so that the wind lifts you into the air. It also counts, but is generally not recommended as you are vulnerable to damage from falling.
So using the zipline is the easiest way to travel vertically in Fortnite, and without taking any damage from falling. This challenge is returning, as it was previously given in Chapter 4, Season 3, and Chapter 5, Season 3. That means you can get this challenge again soon.
