Exploring the cursed city of Mount Qaf and confronting various enemies on your quest to rescue Prince Ghassan can be quite challenging if you haven’t already considered upgrading your weapons. Sargon’s signature dual blades, Qays and Layla, are more than ideal for taking on enemies early in your journey in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown. However, you’ll quickly find that they may not stand a chance against the various bosses you’ll encounter later on.
Prince of Persia The Lost Crown: How to Upgrade Weapons [EARLY GAME]
While upgrading your weapons is fairly simple and doesn’t require a complicated process, you will first need to go through a certain section of Prince of Persia The Lost Crown in order to unlock and enter the area. That said, since it’s still early in the game, it’s pretty easy to miss. So if you’re looking to make those dual blades better, here’s everything you need to know.
To upgrade weapons in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown, players will need to visit Kaheva's Forge. At the forge, you can interact with Kaheva the Blacksmith who will help you upgrade Qays and Layla, and other weapons in exchange for crystals and Azure Damascus Ingots.
However, you must first unlock Kaheva's Forge to gain access to the blacksmith upgrades in the game. You can unlock the area after obtaining the Bow of Menolias and the Chakram in the Hyrcanian Forest.
