"In Jackpot, Paul Feig conjures up a gonzo Los Angeles of the near future: bright, screaming, and spectacular," says Shapiro. "I wanted to give this world a score that matched that. The score features a huge brass section, the piercing tones of Commodore 64 chip sounds, and fast beats. It's a collage of hypersounds at hypertempos."
