Capcom is taking hunting to a whole new level in Monster Hunter Wilds. It’s not just about tracking and battling monsters anymore — you’ll have to contend with the vagaries of nature itself. Ryozo Tsujimoto, the game's producer, announced: "For Wilds, we wanted to create a two-dimensional, two-sided aspect, where you can see the dangerous aspects, but also the nature and the peaceful side." You'll never have the same experience twice when you go hunting. Community Manager Joe Bustos said during the panel that "weather conditions vary between locations and every hunt feels different."

But once the storm has passed, you’re in the “abundant season,” where the air is clear and the world feels relatively peaceful.
