SMITE 2 fans have the chance to try out the game before its full release via closed alpha weekends. These weekends are short, but they are expanding, and you may be wondering when the next one is and how long you have to wait. Luckily for you, we have a countdown.
SMITE 2 – 24/7 Closed Alpha Release Date
Closed Alpha testing will continue until 2024, leading up to the release of the SMITE 2 Closed Beta and then Open Beta, which is free for any player to join. This guide will cover the countdown to the next SMITE 2 Closed Alpha weekend to ensure you can participate.
The next closed alpha weekend for SMITE 2 will take place from May 30th to June 1st, starting at 7pm CT. There’s a good chance the servers will go live earlier than the team shared, but we won’t know for sure until May 30th.
As you might expect from any closed alpha, temper your expectations for SMITE 2 and the game’s current state. SMITE 2 will have a lot of rough edges during these testing periods, but they provide the Hi-Rez development team with crucial information on how to properly balance and change the game before it’s ready to share it with everyone.
